During the time of the Mid- Autumn Festival there are many celebrations in China. In our Chinese class we not only learn the language, but we learn about cultural points such as holidays, cuisine. In order to fully understand this joyous holiday for China, we were assigned to make a PowerPoint to explain the holiday to other classes as well as our own. From there we were put into groups of four and divided the research into four groups such as the legend, food, traditions, and religious. We spent all that week in the group communicating on what research we had done, what was still needed, and how we were going to put it all together.  At the end of the week, we presented to our Chinese teacher and our class. This project helped me with my presentations skills too in the fact that we had to present in class. This project helped me communicate with my group members and my class when presenting in a way that was easily understood.
