Finals Week- the dreaded week in education where breakdowns, tears, and mass amounts of coffee are very common place as we realize how doomed we are. Cheers to my first-ever finals week and cheers to The Office.

It all starts as fun and games. We are all so done with schooling and just ready to go home and have Christmas already.

No sooner do we students realize that this means finals and end of the semester requirements are coming fast.... way to fast. This is when we all know and feel the world ending.

So of course we start studying now rather than pacing ourselves weeks ago when we still had time and sanity.

Naturally we live in the library on coffee + junk food trying to make the most of the situation by studying our butts off.

But this leads to when you get the exams before finals back to realize you knew nothing in the first place.

Of course, for the sake of your sanity, you pretend you are totally fine by pumping yourself out.

Naturally the professors ask if you have any last minute questions... and you do not know where to even begin. You don't know what you don't know.

When you finally enter into finals week and you don't even remember what sanity was.

Mid-way through the week, people and loved ones ask how you did

Suddenly the University sees the need for any kind of comfort and tries to desperately fix the situation

Finally you take your last exam knowing it didn't go as planned and accept the fact that it is finally over

But then you get the grade back

After all this we students rejoice in one things and one thing only

There is a light to every tunnel and a break to every finals week.
